Everything from afterschool to summer camp to adult education programs happens at IS 10 Beacon! This program, funded by NYC Department of Youth and Community Development, is open to all youth and families at IS 10 Horace Greeley!

Afterschool:

IS 10 Beacon has afterschool every school day with a variety of educational and enrichment activities!

Dates: Open every school day between 9/19/22 and 6/27/22
Hours: 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM
Programming: Homework help, Everyday words, DIY, Financial/Economic, Become a Whiz, Debate, STEM, Diversity Club, Project Adventure, Civic Engagement, Theater, Cooking, Pokemon, Music through the Decades, Chess, Etiquette

Summer Camp:

Summer camp dates will be released in Spring of 2023. Check our website or social media for more information!

Weekends:

Looking for something to do over the weekend? IS 10 Beacon runs weekend programs for kids and families on Saturdays throughout the school year! Reach out to beacon10@bgcqueens.org for registration information!

Current programs include:

Tutoring for 1st to 8th grade
ESL and GED for adults
Introduction to Basketball
Intermediate Basketball

Adult Education:

IS 10 Beacon provides services and programs for the entire family! Programming includes ESL and GED classes, online courses for Seniors, and Career Readiness Classes for high schoolers and young adults.
